LifePath goes to Cambridge UK

Cambridge

Last November Trent Allen and Brad Monk attended a course at the Cambridge Judge Business School in Cambridge. The course was also attended by other financial planners from Australia.

This is part of the LifePath ethos of continuing to have their team members expand their knowledge and then pass on their learnings.

One part of the course included learning about different personality traits. This is a very important part of financial planning as each client has different goals but more importantly we all have different attitudes towards risks and volatility. One outcome of the subject was to learn how to uncover an individual’s expected reaction towards differing market returns. We are endeavouring to invest our client’s in the most appropriate asset allocation at their stage of life with the most appropriate risk profile.

Trent and Brad were also very impressed with history in Cambridge and the pride they have in the University. They were also able to visit some of the famous sites in the city. The Corpus Clock is a large sculptural clock at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University. It was officially unveiled to the public on 19 September 2008 by Cambridge physicist Stephen Hawking. The Eagle is a bar established in 1667, it is also famed as the watering hole that helped Watson and Crick discover DNA.

The team at LifePath are always looking at ways to increase knowledge for the benefit of their clients.
