Brad began his 20-year career in financial services with Colonial Mutual, where he worked across a variety of roles including loans management and financial planning. The experience he gathered during this role and his early career in general led Brad to establish the LifePath brand alongside Trent Allen and Gerard Lillis, whom he has worked with for more than 15 years. As a certified financial planner with a Diploma of Financial Planning under his belt, Brad understands the complexity that financial matters can cause and enjoys walking the life path with his clients, advising them as their situations evolve.

Brad is married and the father of four children. He is a passionate supporter of the many sports, dances, drama and academic activities his children participate in.


Gerard Lillis  CFP BBus(Acct)

Gerard has worked in the financial services industry for more than 35 years. He spent his early career in personal and commercial lending teams at domestic and foreign banks before transferring his interest to wealth management. Gerard holds a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy), Diploma of Financial Planning and is a certified financial planner. Gerard’s expertise ensures our clients can achieve financial stability across an array of areas including superannuation, retirement planning, wealth creation, investing and tax-effectives strategies, insurance and estate planning.

Gerard is married to Tricia and the pair enjoys an active social life with family and friends while plotting their next travel adventure.

Trent has been interested in finance for as long as he can remember, but credits his desire to help others improve their quality of life through smarter financial decisions as his reason for pursuing his chosen career. Trent began his studies in computer programming, gaining a Bachelor of Information Technology before successfully transitioning to the financial services industry and completing a Bachelor of Business and Master of Applied Finance. He is now a certified financial planner, self-managed superannuation fund specialist adviser and life risk specialist, with experience across wealth creation, superannuation, retirement planning, insurance and wealth protection strategies as well as aged care planning.

Trent is happiest when spending time with his family (including his wife, Karley, and their three children) at the beach or shooting hoops with the kids in the backyard.

Brenton has over six years of experience in the financial services industry and holds a Bachelor of Education and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services. He transitioned to the financial services sector from a teaching career in 2010. Brenton joined the LifePath Financial Planning team in 2014 as a qualified financial planner. Brenton enjoys working with clients to achieve their financial goals through effective design and application of strategy, investments and risk management.

In his downtime, Brenton is a keen woodworker and enjoys crafting handmade furniture.

James has over eight years’ experience as a professional in the accounting and finance industries and holds a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning. He cut his teeth as a tax accountant before making the leap to financial planning in 2015. James particularly enjoys the problem-solving aspects of financial planning and has a keen interest in designing long term comprehensive strategies.

James is a Brisbane Broncos fanatic and enjoys long walks on the beach with his family.

Rob has over five years’ experience in the financial planning industry, including paraplanning, and has completed a Diploma of Financial Planning and a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Business Law. His desire to develop tailored financial plans that achieve each client’s specific financial goals sees Rob work closely with his clients, whether it be in-person or over the phone. Rob can often be found speaking with clients about their financial challenges, no matter how big or small, and he aims to help clients make smart financial decisions as they work towards security. Rob is currently studying a Masters’ Degree in Economics.

Outside work, Rob spends time with his partner Candace and their dog, Spot. Rob is also a keen golfer and can be found out on the course most weekends.

With more than seven years of experience in the financial services industry, Craig holds a Master of Financial Planning and degrees majoring in Finance and Economics. He is currently undertaking his Professional Year with the LifePath team, as part of his process towards to becoming an adviser. Craig enjoys providing clarity to clients by assisting to develop goals, then putting a plan in place to achieve those goals.

Craig and his wife, Kelly, have three children. He says he isn’t picky when it comes to sport and closely follows a number of teams, but also enjoys spending his downtime on home improvement projects.
